Most 1979 swimsuits are retro style inspired, however modern and somewhat timeless. Sustainability and the highest quality from certified fabrics to the smallest hook or slider. Our swimsuits with a low leg and high coverage are classics and even more popular than our high-leg-cut. Our swimsuit “Teodora” has a special leg-rim without elastic, so it adapts to the shape of your thigh without digging into the skin.

Our basic swimsuits for women are always very elegantly cut and we even have a long-torso-swimsuit for women with a slightly longer upper part of the body. A lot of time is put into the pattern making and the yearly fine-tuning to optimize each pattern continuously. Currently we offer six sizes and plan on extending our larger swimwear sizes from currently 14/16 to size 18/ 20 (German size 46 and 48) as well.
